A new blossom

I was drawn to this new blossom emerging from the surrounding dark green leaves, with the light catching the small purple flowers and bringing them forward from the shadows. I wanted to keep the image simple and natural, focusing on that small moment when a new flower begins to open and adds a touch of colour among the foliage.
