Once Was Enough

I enjoy walking around a good garden. However, considering it was late in the afternoon and one of the main attractions of the Val Rahmeh Botanical Garden in Menton is its pond, it was probably a bad choice to visit.

I have never been bitten by so many mosquitos in such a short space of time. At one point, I could feel the hairs on my legs moving. I looked down to see at least 30 mosquitos on each leg. The next few days were itchy and miserable. At least I got this pic of the lily pads though as I certainly won't be going back!
