Shakiba

Greetings, I am a senior biomechanics researcher, based in Leeds-UK since 2014. Painting and traveling are two of my many interests. Another hobby of mine is taking and watching the photographs. It inspires me to paint, familiarizes me with people and places all around the globe, and provides relief and peace of mind, particularly nature pictures. Why I chose Shakiba شکیبا as my artistic name? "Shakiba" is a Persian word that means "gentle and tolerant." I have experienced many ups and downs in my life, particularly during my higher education in the UK. As an Iranian, I chose this name as my artistic name because I often feel the necessity of being patient, and tolerant in each step of the life. I consider myself a very armature visual artist. I found this platform an interesting place to share photographs taken by my soulmate and I :). The photographs are original, with no filtering or manipulation. I recommend that viewers look at the photographs in the albums. It'll be less exhausting and more enjoyable than watching them in photos tab.
