24th July 2022
Taken looking down towards the Standedge Tunnels at Marsden, Nr Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The Standedge Tunnels are a set of 3 tunnels underneath the Pennines that allow the railway and canals to pass through into Lancashire - Greater Manchester. This shows the Newcastle to Liverpool Lime Street train passing over the Huddersfield Narrow Canal towards the rail tunnel at 10.46 am on the 25th July 2020. This was the first time I'd been out camera in hand since before the Covid lockdowns had been put in place in the United Kingdom. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
